Roofing sheets and the material
It’s known that the primary objective of the roof is to protect a certain object from various weather conditions such as that of wind. Roofing metal sheets are also called as a “fifth facade” – due to its construction, angle, material and shape. When we take all these measurements in consideration, it’s obvious that the roofing sheets represent one of the most important elements of the whole building.
It’s very important that absolutely every roof is more than though, as well as elastic, so it could hold the weight of an adult man besides its own weight, weight of the snow and the pressure of the strongest wind power. This is particularly important when preparing to sort the metal sheets, but also for eventual additional work needed for the material, roof repairs and so on. Also, it is very important that the given material successfully resists strong and bad weather conditions, and also to be of high enough quality to be able to keep its shine and endurance during cold winter periods of the year.
This leads to a clear conclusion that its very important to take specific factors into accounts when choosing the correct metal profiles for your building, or what ever the case is. This factors include but are not limited to: geographical location, weather conditions, specific use, building drawings, house, and of course your budget as well as your taste. The roof itself is combined of the roofing sheets, wooden plates, and the truss. The truss is most likely of wooden construction, as the carrying construction, where the ventilation and air power is very important.
Besides the standard functions, roofs have other functions and requests, for which certain needs have to be carried out. This elements include the gutters, gutter pipes, as well as pipes for water drainage and rain. Other elements include snow guards, various foil, roof windows, ridge caps, various connection materials and so on.
There are many types of combinations of roof construction, e.g. the classical, standard roof with only one eaves, two or even more eaves. Also, the roof can be parsed, crossed, with domes of different shape and so on. The shroud can of course also be built and made out of different materials.
Sheet metal has one particular advantage over classical tiles, or actually over any other roofing material. Compared to classical tiles, metal sheet tiles are way more lighter, so it owns the advantage when it comes to transportation of material, or when it’s time for assembly. Roofing sheets of metal are known by its strong resistance towards all weather conditions. Roofing metal sheets are more and more accepted as time passes by, of course due to the high quality of the material itself, its various advantages in relation to the classical tiles, but also because the sheet metal prices are in condition to be way cheaper then classical tiles as the roofing material.
Profiled metal sheets can be in different shapes, sizes and profiles. Our company, Limometal is particularly satisfied with the popularity of one of its profiles called “BIBER”, which is a profiles of imitation of classical tiles.
