Sheet metal roofs
Not so long ago, covering buildings with sheet metal was thought to be a good idea only for objects of secondary function. For example, buildings of commercial use, various storage houses, and mostly buildings which are not used as a homes for people to live in. Of course, it is known that the standard thoughts of sheet metal covering houses have changed a lot. This is a direct result of various manufacturers. A lot of people have been using the advantages of choosing tin sheet metals for their roofs for many years.
Today’s sheet metal products are so diverse that there’s something for everybody! The many products include various types of roof sheet metals which can be galvanized, copper, plasticized and the roof itself can be made out of wood entirely. Sheet metal roofing – as it’s normally pronounced. Besides the standard advantages of sheet metal roofing, we also provide a number of visual effects which are a part of our roofing systems, such as smooth and overall-good looking surface, the simplistic look & feel of the sheets, and its cleanness. When we take all these sheet metal advantages into consideration, and especially when you think about its prices going down as time passed by, it’s no wonder that we see it being used more and more.
Tin roof doesn’t only correctly complete the structure of a roof, on a certain building, but it also has decent chances of reducing or even completely hiding all aesthetic mistakes and errors on the building. All of this is possible by carefully choosing the right type of sheet metal, for a certain project.
Therefore, there is no doubt that sheet metal is a very reliable material, it is easily assembled, and its quality is high. In other words – it’s the perfect choice for roof truss. Of course, metal tiles have been used for a long time now, in all places all over the world, and today, we have many different types of sheet metal roofs to choose from. Tin products are irreplaceable when the main goals include light construction but also a very low weight of the roof itself.
Some people indulge worrisome thoughts when they think about sheet metal roofing, especially because they think about thunder strikes, or about condensation which is expected when the weather tends to change a lot. Needless to say, our products take care of this as well. Our answer lies in the material and products themselves, e.g. the condensation issues are perfectly solved by using our high-quality sheets along with the so-called sandwich under-layers of metal sheets.
Without doubt, tin roofs enjoy big advantages and are really practical as a roofing material, for so many reasons. Metal sheets are naturally used in areas with high and dense snowy-weather conditions, as well as in cold countries where wood application is simply not possible.
Tin roofs are very light (weight) and are considered an excellent answer when it comes to truss with bigger angles as well. Roof made of metal sheets is also a great way to counter very strong wind conditions. Our company, LIMOMETAL, offers a high variety of different kinds of products, for different kinds of trusses. Our customers often choose from different roof types, different under-layers, montage systems, straight sheets which are used for interlocked sheets, or even profiled corrugated metal sheets which are used as to imitate brick roofs.
Metal sheet tiles
Long lasting research conducted in the area of profiled sheets metals have resulted with high-quality products nowadays. Various industrial experts consider tin roofs as the right solution for covering different types of buildings in the construction industry. From the most common montage houses, sheds, family homes and vacation houses, to the biggest business buildings. The fact that the metal sheets are highly adjustable stands true, and with that in mind, the limitation when choosing the look of your roof disappears! When we consider weather conditions, tin material possesses high advantages over other roof materials, and the very assembly process of metal sheets is far more simpler. And not only that, but tin roofs also offer excellent sound isolation.
When it comes to protection from condensation, a steam permeable-water-proof foil is used. The same or similar task can be achieved by using our sheet tiles with anti-condensation filc which is already built-in. The anti-condensation filc is added into the manufacturing process on the bottom side of the tin roof sheets. Anticondensation filc acts so that the foil takes in almost all the condensation which occurs under the sheet tiles. When ti comes to covering the ridge caps of the roof itself, we use prefabricated semi-circular ridge caps. This ridge cap is very precisely set on the very tip of the roof, while it doesn’t interfere with the aesthetics of the roof – but instead, it improves the overall roof design. Small things like these need to be thought of, as they improve the roof’s technical and design aspect.
The opening which is found between the roof tiles and the ridge cap is filled by a profile filler, which also follows the shape of the overall look. And when it comes to protection from snow, prefabricated snowguards are placed on the roof. Linear snow-guards – with its own characteristics guarantee both endurance and functionality during high capacity snow falls. The primary function of the snow-guards themselves is of course to protect the home inhabitants from snow falling off of rooftops. SVP screws are used to tighten the snow guards.
The Limometal company graciously recommends metal sheet tiles “UNA”, as well metal sheet tiles “BIBER” – which is currently sold under promotional prices.
Roof-facade profiled and trapezoidal sheets
When we talk about covering industrial building (factories, etc), as well as manufacturing buildings, particularly of bigger surfaces, we recommend our trapezoidal profiled sheets. Trapezoidal metal sheets are most often found on industrial buildings. Trapezoidal sheets are remarked by excellent endurance of the metal sheets under heavy loads. They are made of steel or aluminium tin, while steel trapezoidal sheets can be galvanized or galvanized and painted (with a color of your choosing). When delivering the product, trapezoidal sheets are great as they enjoy additional strong reinforcements on the bottom side of the sheets. Besides its great toughness, this also provides the trapezoidal sheets with extraordinary better looks. Therefore, it is perfectly reasonable to conclude that the trapezoidal sheets can be used both of industrial, business buildings, as well as for family homes and vacation houses.
